A student of Loreto Convent, Asansol, she aspired to be a teacher of English since Class 6. Accordingly, she did her Graduation and Post Graduation in English. She had English and History as her Method Paper in B.Ed., with specialization in Educational & Vocational Guidance. She also completed her Diploma in English Language Teaching from Institute of English, Calcutta. TeachKnot Language Laboratories has been her dream project since 1997. In order to understand the complex structure of school education system, she taught in many CISCE Board schools in Kolkata. She taught at National Gems Higher Secondary School, Behala; Vivekananda Mission School, Joka; The Future Foundation School, Ranikuthi. She has also served as a Faculty at Loreto College, Kolkata. At present she is a Faculty of the Department of Communicative English of Gokhale Memorial Girls’ College, Kolkata, since 2009.
